Year 11 pupils from St. Colm’s High School recently took part in our Digital Media Workshops and produced videos to express their hopes and views for the future of the Colin Town Centre.
During the workshops the students received training from NerveBelfast on how to record, edit and mix both video and audio as well as gaining experience in using ipads and a number of industry standard applications.
The culmination of their work was showcased earlier this month at a special event at the school where students, staff and parents were invited along to view the videos and to hear about the work they had undertaken and congratulate them on receiving their certificates of achievement.
Everyone was very impressed by their work and the valuable insight they provided of the views of young people from the area and how the community will benefit in the future from the development of the Colin Town Centre.
